Early tomorrow morning on February 13th, 2013 we will be performing a routine update to our system in order to deliver the best possible product to our customers. The update will happen between 2:30 A.M. and 3:30 A.M. EST and should last approximately 10 minutes. It is our sincere desire to provide you with excellent service and we are grateful for your loyalty!

 

Friday, February 8th 2013 Update

Gracias VRS experienced a brief service impairment on Thursday, February 7, 2013 between 7:57 PM and 8:31 Eastern Time. Information received from the Company’s platform provider indicates that there was an “H323 attack” consisting of a high volume of fraudulent calls directed to GraciasVRS’ relay services platform, rendering the Company’s H323 gateway incapable of processing calls. A number of other entities, not necessarily relay service providers, were similarly impacted according to the platform provider. Some 18 legitimate calls were determined to have been received during this time via the Company’s gateway, but could not be processed. Incoming calls to Gracias VRS’ platform that were not routed via the H323 gateway were unaffected. Public access to the H323 gateway was immediately restored following the attack and the Company’s platform provider is investigating the basis for the attack.

Monday, April 9th 2012 Update

Gracias VRS experienced a brief service interruption on Monday, April 9th 2012 between 12:05pm and 1:23pm. During this time the PSTN lines were interrupted and corresponding parties associated with monitoring these lines were immediately contacted. The colo location hosting the PSTN lines was contacted and the server was rebooted and this resolved the problem.

We thank our clients for their patience during this time!

Gracias VRS experienced a brief service interruption on Saturday February 25th, 2012, between 8:55pm and 10:50pm EST. During this time the PSTN lines were interrupted and corresponding parties associated with monitoring these lines were immediately contacted. The colo location hosting the PSTN lines was contacted and the server was rebooted and this resolved the problem.

During this time, clients were able to dial into our service using graciasvrs.tv and our team of CA’s made sure to speak with each one and give explanation of the temporary service interruption and assured them the outgoing calls were going to be able to be placed once confirmation that the lines were operational again.
