Their Hands Were “Heard”
Dozens of people were gathered at Hiram Bithorn Stadium under the hot unforgiving sun to participate in the 9th Annual Deaf Awareness Walk. This year the date was September 25 of 2010 and the Motto was: “Listen to the Hands: Let’s Communicate”. Deaf and relatives along with Interpreters, Teachers and Service Providers gave their full support to the cause.
Later that morning the attendees paid us a visit to the Gracias VRS Booth. They were interested in both our services and commitment with the community. Meanwhile they enjoyed our delicious Frappuccinos made right there to share with our guests.
It truly was a prosperous day for the Deaf Community and those committed to their progress. Their hands were “Heard”.
